7 2 days ago Full Job Description As the Technical Lead/Alternate Contract Manager, the individual will provide technical expertise to support the Ft.
Benning Garrison S6 and command initiatives.
In this role, the Technical Lead/Alternate Contract Manager directly interfaces with customers in order to schedule and perform software installations and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing databases, conducting analysis, and developing trending models and reports.
Analyze existing technology and perform market research to ascertain what current and near future technology can be developed to address the customer's requirements and to develop Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE).
Interface with Government (internal/external) associates regarding information technology (IT) commodities.
This includes providing technical assistance to program customers to facilitate better requirements definition and assist the acquisition workforce in meeting the customer needs.
Provide technical information as necessary via telephone, email, and electronic means to Garrison personnel, internal/external customers, and contractors.
Assist with formal and informal presentations to higher level management, communicate with current and potential customers, including the ability to effectively define and describe IT needs and capabilities.
Write formulas, run reports, and use Microsoft tools, as well as conduct market research, analyze trends, and make suggestions.
Resolves customer issues through subject matter expertise, research, reproduction, and troubleshooting.
Participates in special projects as required.
Highly proficient in application of professional concepts to resolve advanced analysis/programming issues.
Assists in providing technical guidance to less senior technical staff.
Explains and presents good ideas frequently, effectively, and with confidence.
Operate and maintain hardware and software associated with standard IT service delivery; implement and maintain all prescribed configurations (e.
g.
, Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG)); and integrate operations with internal and external activities (e.
g.
Regional Cyber Center (RCC), 7th Signal Command (Theatre) G3 Operations, etc.
).
Provide expert advice by identifying IT service delivery issues and potential shortfalls with proposed technical solutions; engineer/re-engineer technical solutions to address identified solutions design shortfalls; provide life-cycle management consultation and advice.
Oversee execution of system deployments and technical changes on a quarterly or as required basis as determined by Security Technical Implementation Guide, Microsoft and other vendor-based product rollout schedules or as required by Army, Defense Information Systems Agency or other agency.
Recommend, develop, and maintain operational processes and automated solutions.
Provide IT performance metrics/service reporting and documentation, weekly IT Service Delivery reports, monthly contract quality performance and quarterly Installation Status Report (ISR) processes.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
