Position Overview:
IVM Solutions is seeking a dedicated and skilled Weedeater Operator to join our team.
As a Weedeater Operator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the aesthetics and cleanliness of various solar sites, ensuring that they are well-kept and presentable.
Your primary responsibility will be operating a weedeater or string trimmer to trim and maintain grass, weeds, and other vegetation in designated areas.
Responsibilities:
Weedeating Operations:
Safely and efficiently operate a weedeater or string trimmer to trim grass, weeds, and overgrown vegetation in various solar sites.
Vegetation Maintenance:
Collaborate with the vegetation maintenance team to ensure the overall cleanliness and appearance of the outdoor spaces.
Assist in other vegetation maintenance tasks when required.
Safety and Quality Control:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the weedeater.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure the quality of work meets company standards.
Equipment Maintenance:
Conduct routine inspections of the weedeater and other equipment.
Report any malfunctions or damage promptly to the supervisor.
Teamwork:
Work cooperatively with other team members to efficiently complete tasks and meet project deadlines.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of work performed, hours worked, and materials used.
Customer Service:
Interact courteously with clients and customers, addressing any concerns professionally.
Requirements:
Weedeating
Experience:
Previous experience operating a weedeater or similar equipment is preferred, but not mandatory.
On-the-job training Will be provided for the right candidate.
Driver's License:
A valid driver's license is required to operate company vehicles to travel to various job sites.
Physical Fitness:
The position requires physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors for extended periods, often in varying weather conditions.
Attention to Detail:
Demonstrate precision and accuracy in weedeating operations to achieve a polished and well-maintained appearance.
Drug Screen:
Successful candidates must pass a drug screening test as a condition of employment.
