Operational Psychologist (Ft.
Benning GA)
Responsibilities:
o Primary supporter of the assessment and selection of incoming personnel and providefeedback to unit leadership on suitability of personnel to serve within certain military organizations or positions.
o Acquires, conducts, administers, and interprets a full spectrum of psychological assessment measures and consult with command personnel on risk identified of SFAB candidates; manage relevant process improvement, program validation, and related research; develop and manage appropriate personnel selection records and filing systems.
o Adapts psychological assessment for candidate suitability based on professional assessment and customer feedback.
o Conducts operational psychology to optimize SFAB team employment.
o Provides professional development and awareness education to leadership and operations personnel.
o Provide technical expertise, consultation, and direct support in the areas of assessment and selection of personnel, operational support, human performance enhancement, and executive coaching.
o Conduct baseline and post-event neuropsychological screening, collect and analyze data, and monitor trends in psychological health as directed.
o Analyze for normative psychometric variables for specific military organizations.
o Synchronize SFAB psychologists to identify psychometric properties of high and lowperformers.
Required
Qualifications:
o Doctorate of Philosophy or Doctorate of Psychology from an American Psychology Association accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology.
o Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in one of any U.
S.
State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or U.
S.
Virgin Islands.
o Demonstrate a working knowledge of professional standards and ethics regarding the delivery of clinical psychology programs.
o Demonstrate computer literacy sufficient to operate a personal computer utilizing psychological tests, word processing, database/spread sheet programs, and possess basic typing skills sufficient to efficiently produce the psychologist's own reports and correspondence.
o The contractor shall possess a mastery of psychological assessment, behavioral health, behavioral research, and familiarity with organizational effectiveness literature, operational psychology, performance enhancement and training, industrial/organizational psychology, and social and operational psychology.
Contractor may be required to receive and maintain clinical practice privileges.
o All health care providers have and maintain current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) as requires for credentialing at servicing medical treatment facilities.
o May be required to received and maintain clinical practice privileges.
o Must meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specific credentialing instructions.
o Must maintain credentialing requirements in good standing at a local Military Treatment Facility (MTF).
o SERE orientation and/or certification through the Joint Personnel Recovery Agency Required
Experience:
o Education and training in personnel assessment and selection with two (2) years of experience.
Prior military and/or SOF experience is preferred.
o One year of experience in performance enhancement or executive coaching as well as organizational assessment and consultation and/or completion of the USASOC Introduction of Operational Psychology Course (IOPC) or similar organizational psychology classes.
o A minimum of two (2) year's post-doctoral experience within the past five (5) years in the independent practice of psychology in operational psychology.
o Prior experience working with physicians providing medical psychological services is desired.
o Experience and training in the assessment and treatment of alcohol and substance abuse conditions, domestic violence, child abuse, post-traumatic stress, mood and anxiety conditions, and family/marital issues.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
