Job Overview:
The Deputy Civil IJO Shop 536 Manager will support Aptim Federal Services in supplying leadership and guidance to the operation of the Civil IJO team, who support a wide variety of Demand Maintenance Orders (DMO), Individual Job Orders (IJO), and Standard Operating Orders (SOO) at Ft.
Moore.
This position will oversee the daily functions of Civil IJO Shop 536 while collaborating closely with company management teams, project coordinators, customers, and government officials.
This position is a leadership role and as such, requires a team player who leads by example, has the ability to develop and enhance the Civil IJO team to ensure all project deadlines are met, timely, and meet budget requirements; all while adhering to government guidelines, office, and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Prep, plan, schedule, and inspect projects for seven different crews at Civil IJO Shop 536 Manage all projects to keep on schedule and meet budgeting requirements Ensure employees have all equipment, materials, and environmental documents needed to perform tasks Ensure proper equipment and materials are on hand or ordered for project completion Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings for site prep and shoot grade with instrument.
Basic
Qualifications:
Minimun of 6 years of experience being a Deputy Manager High School Diploma or equivalent Valid State Driver's License Meet requirements for:
pre-employment physical, drug screening, background check, and MVR check (MVR points are subject to company policy) Must be able to meet requirements and maintain a CAC Mechanical and fabrication experience is a plus but not required PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
