Need:
Technical Instructor provides support to the US Army Infantry School's Ranger Training Program with instruction in the following courses.
The Instructor shall have the appropriate experience in order to conduct the Ranger Instructor Certification Program (RICP) and associated sustainment training. Plan, schedule and monitor all administrative aspects of the RICP. Conduct research and participate in the development of new RICP course requirements and instructional materials. Individual will be required to maintain all academic and training records for the 4th Ranger Training Battalion concerning the RICP and the automated Systems Approach to Training database. The Ranger certification instructor program will focus instruction on Small Group Instruction techniques, Infantry and Ranger doctrine at the squad, platoon and company level.
The successful candidate shall possess the following special qualifications -task
Specific Requirements:
- Must possess knowledge of Army instructor training and certification programs.
- Will be certified and able to certify Soldiers in the Army Basic Instructor Course with a minimum of (2) years experience instructing.
- Will possess certification in the Tactics Certification Course with the ability to certify instructors with a minimum of (2) years instruction.
- Will be Ranger qualified with a minimum of (4) years actual experience teaching students at the Ranger course.
- Must possess extensive experience consistent with light infantry and airborne assignments within the Army with a minimum of (15) years experience.
- This position requires extensive knowledge of the Orders Process and Army training methods and requires the incumbent to possess the ability to communicate in writing to prepare orders, summary sheets, and memorandums and the ability to communicate orally with individuals and groups to conduct training, discuss training mission requirements, findings, briefings and presentations.
- Effective communicator. Individual will be responsible for the coordination with outside agencies supporting the licensing requirements for the 4th RTBN RICP includes:
o Range Certification
o Demolitions Certification
o Military Drivers licensing for FBGA
- Will have extensive experience (4) year's minimum instructing the following modules used to certify instructors supporting the 4th RTBN POI: o React to Contact
o Squad Attack
o Break Contact
o React to Ambush
o React to Indirect Fires
o SODA/LODA
o Linear Danger Areas
o Squad Link-up Formations and Order of Movement
o Squad Reconnaissance
o Squad Ambush
o Squad Patrol Base
o Troop Leader Procedures
o Prepare and Issue WARNO and Operations Order

Qualifications

Requirements:
- Must be able to walk, stand or sit for long periods of time in a classroom environment or outside in all types of weather.
- Must be able to climb in and out of military vehicles and armored vehicle platforms.
- Ability to walk long distances up to 1 KM over broken ground.
- Must be experienced/certified and proficient in operating a variety of Training Devices.
- Must provide applicable certifications or training documentation for operating TADSSt.
- Must have minimum High School diploma or GED
- Maintain a valid driver's license and ability to obtain civilian access card to enter installation.
- Must possess & maintain secret clearance.
- Minimum of 12 months combat experience (ODS/OIF/OEF specific experience).
- Proof of US citizenship is required.
