Engility is seeking an Instructional Design/Training developer with detailed knowledge of the Analysis, Design,Development, Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE) process for Individual and / or Collective Tasks, POIs / lesson plans, STRAPS, CATS, and MTPs.
This is a SCA (The Service Contract Act) position.
Must hold a Bachelor's degree in instructional design, instructional technology, training, adult education, or related field of study to be considered
3 to 5 years of specialized experience as an instructional designer or related field. This experience must be within the past 2 years.
Have solid understanding of instructional design approaches, Systems Approach to Training (SAT) or the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model.
Experience performing analysis, design and development for instruction; conducting task, needs, and audience analyses; writing learning and performance objectives; and applying principles of adult learning and learning styles.
Experience using program management, e-learning authoring and development tools; making presentations, and conducting classroom training; and developing assessments to achieve specific goals.
Ability to follow processes and procedures for quality assurance and technical accuracy of training material content.
Possess computer literacy skills with knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, and MCoE DOTD approved information management systems.
Current and active SECRET Security Clearance, or be eligible to obtain a SECRET clearance.
Possess knowledge of TRADOC Regulation 350-70, along with knowledge and ability to use automated development systems throughout the ADDIE process, i.e., the Training Development Capability (TDC).
Possess excellent writing skills and ability to work with DOTD and unit experts to conduct research and resolve issues; strong oral communication; ability to present complex information clearly; attention to detail.
Possess a current national agency check (NAC) in order to have access to computer networks and receive a common access card (CAC).
Applicants selected for this position will require an active DoD Secret clearance. Applicants selected for a security clearance will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirement for access to classified information.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
