Department:
The Citizen & Defense Services business unit provides support in three major areas: business process services, where we perform the actual function that the process is relate to; business process related software, that helps us manage the various components, the systems associated with the software in the process; and then there is a business process management which is used to help design and track the performance of the specific business process. The business units work supports primarily the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of State, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. We support our clients with a work force of over 2600 Serco and Serco subcontractor employees and provide mission critical support services that primarily support Immigration, Visa Processing and Commerce. The business unit also has approximately 2000 employees and operates at hundreds of locations across the United States and overseas in Korea, Japan, Italy, and Germany. We provide personnel services to military personnel, military families, and civilians working for the military. Our capabilities address a wide range of managed services, as well as the complete military lifecycle which includes recruitment, to active duty through retirement.

Job Description:
Serco Inc. is seeking a Central Tasking-OPORDS Analyst I candidate for our contract at Ft. Benning.
The essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Creates, maintains, updates the Tenant Central Tasking Office (CTO) and Tasking Operation Orders (OPORDS) Continuity Book and ensures it is reviewed on a quarterly basis
Provides detailed input to the Monthly Summary Report including actions and progress in support of CTO and Tasking OPORDS
Coordinates information for central tasking requirements. Operate as POC to coordinate and facilitate tasks
Creates tools and tracking systems for task requirements
Develops and implements methodologies to track performance of task requirements
Prepares executive summaries, updates, and briefings covering tasking issues
Prepares correspondence in reference to tasking requirements
Coordinates information for requirements involving by name or line number assignments for individual augmentation taskings
Required Skills and
Experience:
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 1-3 years' experience
General Requirements: Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (SKAs):
SECRET Clearance
By the terms of its contract with the U.S. Government, Serco must fill this position with a U.S. Citizen.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products
Strong communications skills (oral and written)
Ability to work cooperatively with military / civilian workforce
Working knowledge and understanding of military protocol and chain of command.
Desired Skills:
Prior military service
Background in or working knowledge of Infantry or Armor
Background in or working knowledge of Military Operations, Training Development, Doctrine Development, or Combat Development
Experience as a Senior Noncommissioned Officer or Mid-Level Officer
Specialized Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required :
BA Degree in General Business, Accounting, Management, Contracting, Bookkeeping, Business/Technical Writing, English or equivalent experience.
Equivalent Experience is defined as: experience related to, or similar to, the corresponding educational degree, which may be substituted for education at the rate of two (2) years of experience for every one (1) year of education. A combination of education and experience is acceptable, for example, an Associate's Degree plus 4 years of experience
