Computer Operator (Secret)

Overview By Light is hiring a Computer Operator to join our team providing Information Technology (IT) support services to the Network Enterprise Center (NEC) located on Fort Benning, Georgia. Responsibilities Operates a data center with virtual and physical servers. Manages network hardware, server hardware, storage area network (SAN), power and environmental systems and continuity of operations planning. Studies program operating instruction sheets to determine equipment setup and run operations. Continuously observes the operation of the console panel, storage devices, printers, and the action of the console printer to monitor the system and determine the point of equipment or program failure. Maintains operating records such as machine performance and production reports. Prepares and presents information/reports to management. Required Experience/Qualifications 3 years of relevant IT experience Active DOD Secret clearance DoD 8570 Baseline Certification; IAT Level II Certified (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) Preferred Experience/Qualifications Experience supporting or assigned to the DoD and /or U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command. Has the communication skills to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
